A young girl was injured while playing with fireworks in the city’s Brewerytown neighborhood.

It happened Thursday afternoon along Bailey Street near Cecil B. Moore Avenue.

The 11-year-old had injuries to her torso and is expected to fully recover.

Philadelphia police say they are investigating the incident.

On July 3, Rasheid Lynch, 15, was found in a driveway near Revere and Robbins streets with gunshot wounds to his chest, shoulder and lower back. Police say his body was dumped there around 6 p.m.

The Levittown man who fatally shot and beheaded his father in January of last year, then posted a video of it online, was found guilty of first-degree murder and terrorism charges.
