The administration had asked the court for a “mandate” to replace the panels, noting that the slavery exhibit has not been changed, despite the court’s ruling last month that the Park Service could remove the old panels and install new materials.

The court said its earlier order sufficed.

The mandate request indicates the administration is anxious to move quickly to replace the exhibit, but the Interior Department has not provided a timeline for the work.

Three men are under arrest in Burlington County after police say they used Orbeez guns to shoot at kids.

Police say the incidents happened in both Medford Township and Medford Lakes between 8:30 and 11:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Investigators say Jake Holmes, Cayden Reider, and Youssef Elshoreya drove up to the victims in a dark-colored Jeep Cherokee and began firing Orbeez gel beads.

Authorities say 16 children were struck during the incidents.

Police later stopped the vehicle near Stokes Road and Nelson Drive and arrested the men.

They are charged with assault and terroristic threats.

A man on an e-scooter was struck and killed while trying to cross the street in Frankford Thursday night.

The 37-year-old was going west on Margarette Street and attempting to cross Aramingo Avenue when he was struck by a Dodge Charger.
