“This makes my heart just beam. I love seeing everyone come together. It makes me so happy,” said Shelby, who helped carry the 200-foot-long Pride flag down Main Street in Manayunk Friday.

New Jersey’s Attorney General is releasing more information on the shootout that injured two police officers in Atlantic City and left the suspect dead. Investigators say officers were serving a warrant at a home on North Florida Avenue on Tuesday afternoon. When they arrived, the door was open, but then shut by someone inside.

Police eventually broke down the door, and when they got inside, police say 52-year-old Donald Gardner opened fire, hitting one officer in the helmet and another in the leg. Gardner was shot and killed by a third officer. Sergeant Christian Ivanov suffered life-threatening injuries and is receiving extensive medical treatment. The other officer was treated and released.

A school bus was making a right turn when it struck and killed a boy in South Jersey last month. That's according to a new report from the NTSB on the accident that killed 7-year-old Hunter Smith in Gibbstown.

The report explains that the bus had stopped to unload some students at the corner of Bennett Street and Ashton Drive. Smith and a 10-year-old girl got off the bus and stopped at the corner, then started to cross the street. That's when the driver started making a right turn onto Ashton Drive.

The report doesn't explain why the driver didn't see the boy or wait for him to cross. Bus company Holcomb says it has launched an internal review to determine what happened and prevent future tragedies.

Private wells in Chester County could soon run dry because of the drought. That's the warning from the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection. It's urging everyone to reduce their water usage.

The county has been under a drought warning since last year. So has the entire state of New Jersey.

The rest of southeastern Pennsylvania is under a drought watch, which is less severe than a warning.

Baltimore Avenue in West Philly was flush with people Thursday evening as thousands attended the Dollar Stroll, where local small businesses offered their best deals of the year. KYW Newsradio’s Nigel Thompson was surfing for those deals.

After three days of testimony, Philadelphia prosecutors are expected to wrap up their case against an accused serial killer charged in four murders, including that of his own mother.
