Eagles edge rusher Nolan Smith was arrested in Georgia on Friday, accused of driving 135 mph.

The Twiggs County Sheriff's Office told multiple outlets that Smith was charged with speeding and reckless driving. The 25-year-old made bond and was released shortly after the arrest.

Back in 2022, while he was still in college at Georgia, Smith was also arrested for two traffic violations.

Eagles organized team activities, or OTAs, start next Tuesday.

Workers at five Philadelphia hotels are threatening to walk out during the World Cup if they don't have a new contract by then. They want the same contract recently won by employees at three other hotels in the city. KYW Newsradio's Vik Raghupathi reports.

Philadelphia authorities have arrested and charged a man accused of killing a woman while driving under the influence in Port Richmond late last year.

It was around 2 a.m. on Dec. 27 when police say 31-year-old Elijah Vines was driving his Nissan truck on Aramingo Avenue, near East Tioga Street, when he suddenly collided head-on with a Volkswagen sedan driven by 45-year-old Barbara Skurska.

Skurska was taken to the hospital, where she died about half-hour later. Vines and a passenger in his vehicle were also hospitalized following the crash.

Vines was arrested Wednesday on Castor Avenue — one block from where the accident occurred. He's been charged with murder, DUI, homicide by vehicle, and other offenses.

One member of the Pagan Motorcycle Club who was accused of sparking a shoot-out with a rival gang in a West Norriton Wawa parking lot has been found not guilty, while two others are found not guilty of the most serious charges, but are guilty of some lesser counts. Philadelphia police are looking for a burglary suspect who broke into a South Philadelphia deli and stole a cabinet containing scratch-off lottery tickets.

Police surveillance video shows a man dressed in black smashing the front door of Jeanne’s Corner Grocery & Deli at 15th and Shunk Streets around 3:30 in the morning on April 26th.

Officials say the suspect fled with the cabinet.

Clear images of the man's face were captured from other cameras in the area.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect is asked to call police.
