Raynald Francois, 31, was charged with murder and possession of an instrument in a crime, accused of shooting and killing 17-year-old Zaafir Jerry last June. After learning he was wanted for the murder, Francois turned himself in and has been in prison since last September.

He opted for a trial by judge, and Judge Scott O'Keefe found him not guilty on both charges. Francois will now be released from prison.

A student transport van overturned this afternoon after crashing into a parked car in Cheltenham.

Officials say it happened around 2:30 p.m. near Chelten Hills Drive and Elkins Avenue.

There were no children in the van at the time.

Officials say there were minor injuries, but they haven't disclosed who was injured at this time.

The crash remains under investigation.

We've been telling you for months to ignore fraudulent texts about overdue tolls that appear to be from the Pennsylvania Turnpike.

Police in New Jersey are alerting people about a new scam, claiming outstanding toll debts from the Motor Vehicle Commission. The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office says the messages include threats of enforcement for unpaid tolls and provide a fraudulent link for people to pay. Officials say these are not legitimate, as the MVC doesn’t demand payments through text messages. Police urge people to be very skeptical of any link sent in an unsolicited message. People are instructed to delete these messages and report them to the Federal Trade Commission.

The Pennsylvania Turnpike does not text drivers about unpaid tolls... but now, the Pennsylvania Turnpike is going to start texting drivers about unpaid tolls.

An official with the Turnpike Commission says they are still working out the messaging, as they know most of us have gotten scam texts demanding payment. A commission spokeswoman says they will develop a way to ensure drivers can trust these texts from the turnpike. They plan to begin testing the program in June.
