Officials at the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office say attorneys for 43-year-old Shaun Stebbins elected to bypass a hearing and consented to his detention at the county jail.

Stebbins, a teacher’s aide in a pre-k classroom at Woodbine Elementary, is accused of abusing his family members over the course of 10 years, and authorities are concerned there may be more victims they aren’t aware of.

Anyone who thinks their child may have been a victim is asked to contact the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office.

TILT Institute, a local art organization, is celebrating America’s 250th anniversary with a Philly Photo Day project. From April 6-12, anyone with a camera or smartphone can snap a pic of something that answers the prompt, “How we stay free?” and submit it to their website to be included in an exhibition. The Camden County Prosecutor’s Office says 44-year-old Marci Staub of Galloway County Township is facing multiple charges, including theft and receiving stolen property.

Investigators say hospital officials noticed that expensive bone graft devices and other supplies were missing in October of last year. Then they realized that the number of devices being ordered had risen in recent months for no apparent reason.

On April 1 in Chester, police said a man shot and killed another man, stabbed a woman to death, and sent another woman to the hospital. Police ultimately shot and killed the suspect.

During his rampage, Diamond, a 4-year-old mixed-breed dog, was shot in the face. It’s not known whether she was caught in the crossfire or if she was intentionally shot. KYW Newsradio's Justin Udo has the story.
