Where do you think the city should put a bus station? You have a chance to tell city planners Wednesday night from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Independence Visitor Center.
The intercity bus station has moved several times since the Greyhound station at 12th and Filbert closed in 2023. Riders have complained that the temporary replacements haven't had adequate bathrooms or waiting room space.
The city has been considering a plan to have the Philadelphia Parking Authority lease the old Greyhound station, refurbish it, and then charge bus companies fees to use it, but that hasn't been finalized.
The City Planning Commission says the goal is to "create a modern transportation hub where riders are safe and comfortable."
