More than 100,000 children are treated in emergency departments each year due to fire-related injuries. KYW medical editor Dr. Brian McDonough has more.

There was a hearing in Philadelphia on Tuesday in the bizarre case of a Lehigh Valley doctor accused of over-diagnosing child abuse that resulted in parents losing custody of their children. KYW Newsradio City Hall bureau chief Pat Loeb reports.

The Philadelphia Department of Public Health reported three people have died from the cold this month. Spokesperson Jim Garrow said the medical examiner ruled three deaths — on Feb. 1, 4 and 8 — were cold-related, but he had no other details about the victims.

The city was under an Enhanced Code Blue for that entire period.
