  • Camden County man charged with attempting to lure 14-year-old girl
A Pennsauken man is arrested and charged with attempting to meet up with a child for sex after chatting online.
The Camden County Prosecutor’s Office says 31-year-old Gustavo Sosa thought he was communicating with a 14-year-old girl, but it was actually an undercover detective.
Investigators say he had plans to meet the girl at a park and pay her for sex.
Sosa is now facing several charges, including attempted luring of a child and attempted sexual assault.
The Prosecutor’s Office says video of the arrest was circulating online, with some suggesting it was ICE activity. The prosecutor wanted to clarify that this had nothing to do with ICE, and officers are following the state’s immigrant trust directive.
