The Wissahickon School District will hold a hearing today to discuss firing an elementary school principal who was caught on tape making antisemitic remarks.
The district said Philip Leddy, principal of Lower Gwynedd Elementary School, was leaving a voicemail for a parent. He thought the call was disconnected and then started talking with a staffer. In the voicemail, Leddy suggests the parent has "Jew money," employing stereotypes like Jews are bankers and lawyers, deriding the student's summer camp.
