Two of the biggest soccer countries in the world will be coming to Philadelphia next year for the FIFA World Cup. The six matches being played here were announced yesterday and they include France and Brazil. KYW Newsradio's Sunny Morgan has the details.

Gov. Phil Murphy issued the warning Friday, urging people and businesses to conserve as much water as possible.

State officials say this has been an ongoing issue for more than a year. Only two of the last 15 months were above average for precipitation.

Murphy elevated the situation to a warning from a drought watch issued in October.

KYW's Sunny Morgan tells us, it all unfolded around 2 p.m. Friday near the intersection of Marshall Street and Lehigh Avenue. Officers said as they conducted a live stop on a red Chrysler Sebring, the driver, a 20-year-old woman, reversed her car and lightly hit the officer’s vehicle.

Seven men were ordered to stand trial on charges including aggravated assault, riot, and reckless endangerment, in connection with a shootout in the parking lot of a Montgomery County Wawa. KYW Suburban Bureau Chief Jim Melwert reports.

Philadelphia has a slightly better idea of what countries it will be hosting for the 2026 World Cup this summer after the FIFA draw in Washington, DC, on Friday afternoon. The city's host committee held a watch party for the draw. KYW's Pat Loeb was there.
