Some Eagles fans hit the exits early as the Birds were upset by the Bears on Black Friday, 24-15. Their best shot at taking a lead came late in the third quarter, when Jalyx Hunt knocked down a Caleb Williams pass into his own hands and gave the Birds possession, already in field goal range in a 1-point game. But three plays later, inside the Bears' 15, an Eagles team that has been so good at retaining possession coughed up the ball when Jalen Hurts fumbled on a tush push. The Bears drove down the field, scored again, and never looked back. The low-scoring offense is sure to raise more questions about the Birds' embattled offensive playcaller.
