Tower Health is laying off about a quarter of the staff — 160 people — at Pottstown Hospital.

Tower Health called the decision “difficult” but also said it’s part of an investment in the facility in Montgomery County.

The owner said it will spend millions to expand the emergency department and improve behavioral health services.

It comes less than a year after Tower Health cut 130 jobs at Pottstown Hospital.

Doug Pederson is heading from the sidelines to the press box.

The former Eagles coach will be a college football analyst on CBS Sports Network.

Pederson led the Birds to the Lombardi Trophy in Super Bowl 52. He lost the top job in Jacksonville in 2024 after three seasons.

He told the Philadelphia Inquirer he eventually wants to get back to coaching in the NFL.

Pederson said "being able to describe football" is a "different thing" -- "so it's going to be a learning experience."

Police are warning about a TikTok trend called the “door-kick challenge.” Like “ding-dong ditching,” teens approach homes late at night and try to kick down the front door.

Police say it’s dangerous, and while kids might think this is fun, it could have serious consequences.

American Airlines flights are moving again after a system-wide outage left flights grounded.

American says its systems have been restored and flights are once again taking off.

The outage caused headaches across the country. The nationwide ground stop lasted for about 45 minutes. American apologized to customers for the inconvenience.

Between the outage and the storms, there were 241 canceled flights at Philly International on Tuesday.

Eight men have been charged after prosecutors said they tried to prey on children they met online in New Jersey.

The Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office said the men were nabbed as part of Operation Guardian Angel back in March.
