Welcome back to this Story Time Sunday Reading! Members of the L2C Virtual Learning Team will read children's books to help increase reading literacy. Reading and sharing stories can:
Help your children get to know sounds, words, and language
Develop early literacy skills Learn to value books and stories
Spark a child's imagination and stimulate curiosity
Help develop children's brain, ability to focus, concentration, social skills, and communication skillsToday, we have Ebubechukwuka Aligibe , an 11th grader at DuVal High School in Prince George's County. The book she is reading is titled Dear Boy: A Celebration of Cool, Clever Compassionate You! written by father-daughter duo Paris and Jason Rosenthal and illustrated by Holly Hatam. Please gather around your children for storytime. Enjoy! The Storytime episodes will be uploaded every Sunday wherever you hear our podcasts.
