After Senator Carmelo Ríos compared people protesting Gov. Jenniffer González’s event with people still attending a Bad Bunny concert, I had to talk about it.

In this episode, I'm looking at Puerto Rico's current water crisis, the years of infrastructure problems behind it, and a bigger question: when did we start expecting artists to solve problems that government is responsible for?

And if we're going to ask, “What has Bad Bunny done for Puerto Rico?” then let's actually answer that question.

From his foundation and political activism to hurricane relief, voter engagement, Puerto Rican culture and the economic impact of his residency, there's a much bigger story here.

Bad Bunny isn't above criticism. But there's a difference between asking someone to help and making them responsible.
