First up, Jo Hall is an absolute legend. She’s kind, open and honest. It’s no surprise that she’s one of Australia most trusted and celebrated News anchors with a career at channel nine spanning 45 years and counting. I loved how much she shared, not just the highs but also the tougher times. Like covering really heavy stories or doing late night shifts with a small bub at home. Jo doesn’t sugar coat things and she absolutely loves her job, it was inspiring to chat to someone who worked their butt off to live a career that they absolutely love. I hope this episode inspires you to chase your dreams too. Thank you Jo, you are a lovely person and I look forward to our paths crossing again.

549. Hot Seat: Actor - Gary Sweet

Gaz is a celebrated Aussie actor with a career that took off in the late 80’s and it’s still going gang busters today. He’s been that quintessential Aussie cop in Police rescue which won him 3 Logies and if you’re a millennial like me you’ll remember him as the lead in Stingers! Gaz has also started in theatre, musicals, feature films and countless Aussie TV shows. In this episode we talk about some of his memories and how he got into acting. With the discipline of being an ALF footy player paying off in spades as his ambition to become an actor grew, Gary was hungry to become an actor and just went after it, unapologetically. I found his relaxed nature really inspiring as I myself am an actor that tends to hold on tight and over think things. Thank you Gary, it was so lovely to get to know you. Hope we get to work together one day!

Righto, what a week! I have a movie review for you, a brill new west side hike and I even spotted a rattle snake! 
First up: Movie Review. Civil War with Kirsten Dunst, and as you'll hear her husband Jesse Plemons accidentally got his role. His scene is so confronting and terrifying.
