The opening track is exclusive!! The sound, the lyrics and the voice totally do it for me. Brilliant hook, and superb b.line to set the Deep n Soulful edition of nicely. LOVING the Jimma track from Broadcite Music, will defo be featuring these tracks on future mixes, great EP from UK’s Khyan. And Paul Robinson’s “Mystros of House” track is yet to be released – absolutely love the track….. Taking you a lil bit DEEPER!

I must really love Nick Holder’s Label DNH because I accidentally featured his Benoni Groove track (Gmbos) twice on this mix, but love it so much I thought I’d keep it on here. I finally got to feature the lovely Sabrina Chyld on my mix, an extraordinary vocalist and song writer here in the UK. Check out both DNH and Sabrina Chyld on Traxsource for the full catalogue of their work.

Kojo Akusa and DJ Hypnosis are still in my top fav producers in South Africa, with some extremely special Soulful Vocal tracks synchronised with their phenomenal baseline productions…. (((BOOM))). I also recommend you check out the Teka Munike music video from Ruby Gold…. Great track, great vibes!

The last track sees Boddhi Satva gracing the mic with Osa Oaisa, a great Afro house number with a kicking beat.

Enjoy the sounds.

I always blend the old with the new and Golden Oldie “Waters of March” managed to make it into this Afro Mix. Also Canada’s finest ‘Nick Holder’ has been getting some FINE Afro gem’s out lately!! Check out “The Message to the Rain” track by Problem Child (on Nick Holders DNH Recordings) mixed here with some old skool Culoe De Song “African Senzeni” followed by Culoe’s “Woman Woman” scorcher. Black Coffee, Shana, Bucie & Zakes Bantwini join the Afro marathon at the end of this set to represent nicely for the ever ready South African Crew.

Last but not least, I done a “SSS Vol.13” before “SSS Vol.12” - There was a reason behind this (albeit a very silly one…. LoL)

Enjoy and Happy New Year X
