The LA Galaxy picked up their first point of the season with a spirited 1-1 away draw against the Portland Timbers on Sunday, March 16. The MLS Cup champions continued their improved play in the road draw, with the side that defeated Herediano midweek called back into action against the Timbers. And they once again showed why they ran out overwhelming winners in the Champions Cup, with several energetic and solid performances leading the way for the Galaxy to get a result in a place that hasn’t been kind to LA.
