Wisdom in the marketplace | Communion Sunday

What would it be like to experience peace that exceeds our ability to understand? What would that look like as we trust God’s call to disciplined faith? Watch or listen to the 10:45 am service at La Jolla Community Church as we find answers to those questions.

Laura Georgakakos kicks off the service by reading Psalm 33:12-22 NIV. Those in attendance are encouraged to read the Scripture along together. Following the reading, the Worship band leads us in worship through song with "10,000 Reasons" and "God With Us." Scott Lee (vocals in Worship band and long-time member of LJCC) asks those to stand and greet people around them during the greeting, soon followed by the a video announcement. As people take their seats, Ryan Silvia gives the morning announcements over video.

Laura then comes back up and gives the Prayers of the People before the sermon. Pastor Steve Murray continues the sermon series, "Wisdom in Bite-Size Pieces" with a sermon on "Wisdom in spiritual growth."

After the sermon the Worship band leads us back into worship through song with "Holy Spirit" and Whole Heart." Steve Murray concludes the service with the Benediction.

Musicians in the worship band are: Jennifer Berg - vocalist, Scott Lee - vocalist, Tim Rayner - bass, Bob Sale - drums, and Craig Stephenson - electric guitar.
