Elisa Vegas (@elisa.vegas) is one of the most important conductors of orchestras in the world, currently serving as musical and artistic director at the Gran Mariscal de Ayacucho Symphony (@sinfonicayacucho), one of the most irreverent classical orchestras in the world.

She received The Zingg at the orchestra's headquarters in Caracas, and it was such a fun conversation, but also a lot of learning.

She shared with Eglantina such relevant aspects as the equality of gender opportunities in the conduction of classical music, and the value of the representation, since Elisa had no reference when she began her career as an orchestra conductor, as very few were women.

From the need to bring the arts closer to people, and authenticity as a tool for empathy, we really enjoyed this conversation with a unique and talented woman like Elisa Vegas.

My takeway: Always follow your instincts, but also surround yourself with a capable and specialized team!

Elisa Vegas (@elisa.vegas) es una de las más importantes directoras de orquestas a nivel mundial, actualmente directora musical y artística de la Sinfónica Gran Mariscal de Ayacucho (@sinfonicayacucho), uno de los colectivos de música clásica más irreverentes del mundo. 

Recibió a The Zingg en la sede de la orquesta en Caracas, y fue una conversación divertida, pero también de mucho aprendizaje. 

Compartió con Eglantina aspectos tan relevantes como la equidad de oportunidades de género en la dirección de música clásica, y la importancia de la representación, siendo que Elisa no tenía ninguna referencia cuando inició su carrera como directora de orquesta pues muy pocas eran mujeres. 

Desde la necesidad de acercar las artes a la gente, y la autenticidad como herramienta de empatía, disfrutamos muchísimo esta conversación con una mujer inigualable y talentosa como Elisa Vegas.
