San Jose Earthquakes coach Matias Almeyda has sparked controversy over his quotes in their most recent press call. Almeyda had high praise for Carlos Vela stating, “[LAFC] have the best player in the league who is [Carlos] Vela. They [actually] have one of the best players in the world who is Vela…I would love to coach Vela one day.”
