Today's episode is one where we are joined again by Roberto Perez of Urban Pilon and Piro Lopez of Buya to discuss the current issues in Puerto Rico. We discussed the Trump visit, some of the lies being spread around, and with what people can send to Puerto Rico. The main discussion is around the "Rican-Struction" BBQ for Boriken event on Oct 22, 2017 at 4pm in Chicago.

Learn more about the event: https://www.facebook.com/events/1690099757669666/

Showing great pride in Chicago and all the citywide efforts that have been made in the aiding of Puerto Rico as they recover from the devastating effects of Hurricane Maria, we realize we have yet much work ahead of us.

The fundamental goal of Rican-Struction is simply to provide assistance in meeting the needs of families of the Puerto Rican diaspora without the burden of shipping costs.

In collaborations with Urban Pilón, La Verdad Ltd., and musical guests Buya, the hope is to collect funds in efforts to provide free shipping costs to those who need to mail packages to their loved ones in Puerto Rico.

    Suggested Donation: $25
