The Word of God calls us to correction to turn us to salvation. Salvation can only be found in Christ Jesus, through hearing and obeying the Word of God. We pray the Father will stir in our hearts and open our ears to HEAR what thus saith the Lord. A chilling sentiment, especially realizing how much we love comfort. The water temperature needs to be just right, the room temperature needs to be just right, the food temperature needs to be just right; everything must be “just right” to serve our needs. Perfect temperatures create atmospheres for laziness. As soon as the temperature is right what we need it to be, we fall asleep, assuming all is well. That’s where this church had come to

The servant of God must always scrutinize himself and his motives. His thoughts are not our thoughts. Not only are His thoughts not our thoughts, but our hearts are also desperately wicked, inclined to sin and rebellion. God knows the hearts, He truly knows the hearts.

Our brothers are allowing our differences and prideful personalities to lead us deceitfully into altercations. The decisions we are having to make in society show us the depth of our degradation.
