Lackluster Blockbuster

This week, Andrew and Zac conclude the Death Note commentary. Only about fifty-three times do we laugh while screaming "Oh my god, look at his face". Sorry, Nat Woolf.

This week, Andrew and Zac commentate the new Netflix film Death Note, a live-action remake of the famous anime of the same name. It's very good**

**Nope

Also, yes, know that Daniel Kaluuya and Keith Stanfield are not the same actor. We got our wires crossed - we just didn't figure that out until the Part 2 recording.

In an uncharacteristically content-heavy episode, Andrew and Zac discuss Denis Villeneuve's Sicario 2015 and upcoming Blade Runner 2049, The Big Sick with Kumail Nanjiani, Aziz Ansari's Master of None and Disney XD's new (questionable) Spider-Man cartoon.

And now, a few words to live by:

"Your father lived by a philosophy; a principle, really. He believed that- that if you could do good things for other people, you had a moral obligation to do those things.

That's what's at stake here - not choice: responsibility."

This week, the podcast gets a facelift. Lackluster Blockbuster promises thrilling film-related content, but then talks about Arcade Fire's latest (terrible) album for 25 minutes.

There is a spoiler-free review of Wonder Woman at 36:07, though (despite us calling it a "spoilercast" via song), so ENJOY!

We hope you like the changes we've made to the format and presentation.

Andrew is joined by a very special guest host to discuss the emotive qualities of Mads Mikkelsen, argue the many faces of Brent Spiner, stumble upon the true identity of Kristen Stewart, and finally settle (but not really) on a rich man's Hayden Christensen.Follow James' YouTube channel Spockrates: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCctQyoaVn4VzLFBCT-Wsn-gFollow James on Twitter: @bad_crisp

This week, Andrew and Zac conclude the spoilercast for Edgar Wright's Baby Driver, painstakingly analysing the film scene-by-scene with an adorably novice-level understanding of film design. Bless us, we're trying.

This week, you should probably not listen to this episode if you have not seen Edgar Wright's Baby Driver. This is a typical HCPH scene-by-scene review and breakdown, with part 2 (and Jamie Foxx's wheelchair shenanigans) coming next week. Also, a certain wild west steam baron makes a reappearance with typically incendiary results.
