In this episode Kate chats to Lavinia Brown who is a Psychodynamic coach for Mums and an expert in healing our 'inner child'. She believes that mothers should stop striving to emulate an impossible feminine archetype and instead feel confident and courageous enough to reveal their imperfectly perfect selves to the world with pride.
Lavinia recognises that juggling children, career, relationships, can often feel like there just isn’t enough space for you. In addition becoming a parent yourself can stir up past wounds from your own childhood and if you don’t recognise it you can repeat dysfunctional patterns.
Lavinia says that you deserve a life that is calm, happy and fulfilled. Connect with Lavinia on Instagram or via her website https://www.laviniabrown.com/

In this episode, Kate chats to Kate Blakemore, a trainer, counsellor, speaker, women and girl's mental health advocate and founder of the charity Motherwell Cheshire.
Kate says her passion in life is to support and inspire women and girls of all ages throughout the mothering journey. As a trained counsellor who's needed counselling herself in the past, she talks openly about her own struggles having suffered an ectopic pregnancy and miscarriage. In her experience, women have been repeatedly failed by inadequate and disjointed services so her goal is to ensure that the voices of women will finally be heard in the mental health system.
This is why she set up her charity Motherwell which offers community-based projects for women - giving them access to a support network and bridging the gap in services for women’s wellbeing across Cheshire. It is run by women for women and is open to all women and girls, whatever their stage in life. Kate is a strong believer that information empowers people and works hard to drive forward change so that our voices are heard.
