Today’s episode is nothing short of a wonderful miracle. We are talking about motherhood. However, not everything is flowery and peachy.
Maggie developed Postpartum depression following her pregnancy. She shares her overall fertility story along with her coping mechanisms and lessons from God through the ordeal. She is a wife and a mother of 4 and has a women's ministry entitled Change of Raiment. Her ministry focuses on the spiritual development of Christian women through the study of God's Word and fellowship. Change of Raiment focuses on growing in Christ through the study of God's Word. She understands that many women today struggle with feelings of self-worth and/or value. It is her mission to address the root cause of these feelings and build the physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional makeup of a woman. She desires to teach women an alternative way of life apart from pop culture’s ideas by leading them to find their true worth in Christ. Her ministry gathers weekly for Bible and prayer on zoom and on Facebook. It’s a safe and supportive environment.

So, if you are hoping to become pregnant, are an expecting mama, or someone who is or has dealt with postpartum depression, I hope that this episode fills you with hope. It sure did for me, as I edited this.
Diastasis recti- is when the six-pack ab muscles separate during pregnancy from being stretched. The separation can make a person's belly stick out or bulge months or years postpartum.
Postpartum depression- depression suffered by a mother following childbirth, typically arising from the combination of hormonal changes, psychological adjustment to motherhood, and fatigue. (oxford dictionary definition) If you are suffering from postpartum depression, here are a few resources to take a look at:

SAMHSA’s National Helpline, 1-800-662-HELP (4357)
You can always find local therapists or online therapists as well. I recommend abide.network for Christian counselors. (not sponsored).
