Whatever your winter holiday tradition, many of the season's celebrations revolve around family, either by blood or bond. This week, we're thinking about that Turkey Day thing, so we had to gather around and re-watch the 1993 classic Addams Family Values! While it may not seem like a holiday film, the Addamses, and especially Wednesday, show us how to be proud of who you are, how to stand up for those you love, and how to do it all with a good bit of attitude! We can't think of a better feminist heroine to hang with, so join us as we spend time with the spookiest clan! *SPOILERS* for Addams Family Values (the movie is 26 years old!)

This week, we Ladies recap their adventures at Reno Pop Culture Con. From John Barrowman and Alan Tudyk to the cosplay contest and interviews with amazing artists Thomas Estrada and Greg Guler, we saw it all! We enjoyed having a local con and discuss what it means to be a part of the growing nerd community in Reno.

This week, we meet back up with the original survivors from Zombieland for their sequel outing, Zombieland: Double Tap. While we may not have loved this second film, the core group plus some new faces remain the strongest part of the franchise with their humor and humanity as face new challenges, new zombies, and evolving relationships. Spooky season is upon us! When the weather turns chilly and the pumpkins fill doorsteps, that spells Halloween! And for the Ladies of Nerditude, that means it's the perfect time to get scary. To quote Chuck, "endings are hard." We completely agree as we stand at the beginning of the 15th and final season of Supernatural. Right before we watched the final season premiere of this decade-and-a-half saga, we give our predictions, hopes, and dreams for the last road trip with Team Free Will. Sometimes, things don't work out as you planned, but necessity is the mother of invention. Since our original movie plans were thwarted by Time, we decided to get together with friends and let Fate decide a film. She picked Mad Max: Fury Road, the fourth entry in the Mad Max franchise. Blending action, amazing special effects, and beautiful cinematography with a refreshingly-feminist plot and stellar cast, this movie makes for a fun night in, pizza and wine added! *SPOILERS* for Mad Max: Fury Road

Another minor setback, but there's always time for a game! This week the Ladies finally test out the Supernatural Trivial Pursuit game to see how hard (and easy) it can be in relation to the first 11 seasons of their favorite fandom. With Season 15 approaching, it's time to hop in the Impala and make sure they're on their A-Game before Supernatural takes its final exit. Potential *SPOILERS* for Supernatural through Season 11.

It's hard to be dead, especially when you find out you died to further someone else's journey to being a legend. Enter Paige, Julia, Polly, Bayou, Daisy, and Samantha, who are all coming to terms with being "fridged' by their superhero (or supervillain) boyfriends. As part of the Hell Hath Club, each woman shares her story of how she arrived in Deadtown in order to cope with her own demise. This fictional work delves into the very real issue about female characters being killed off to motivate their male counterparts to heroic feats when it comes to the world of comic books. *SPOILERS*: Spiderman, X-Men, Batman, Aquaman, Green Lantern, and other comic book worlds.
