Have you every stopped to really give thought to the phrase “when life gives you lemons, make lemonade.” Like how do I even make lemonade with just lemons? No one gave me the recipe for this lemonade. Am I just suppose to figure out how to make lemonade with no guidance? NO! I think we got this all wrong, I think we learn to make lemonade with a proper recipe and ingredients just like any other new dish we make. One cannot simply “cope” with difficult life circumstances. We first have to learn what coping strategies work for us. I truly believe in the magic of storytelling and that many people can find healing from one person sharing their story….And that’s where this podcast comes in – follow along each week as you hear storytellers and professionals from across the country share their experiences and the ways in which grit and resilience are born.
