Ladies with Gumption

Love Boat Part 5 sets sail and includes a few hours of discussion of ships, ships, and more ships! We breakdown all the anchor and submarine ships for each of the DCTV shows, how they’ve fared in 2018, and whether they’ve been naughty or nice. We also included a Crackship Corner for each section, discuss the two ways to anchor a show via love and heart, love languages, and why Kara’s love life hasn’t been written as consistently as Barry and Oliver’s.

On our longest podcast ever, we call out the Elseworlds crossover for its glaring and problematic exclusion of Iris and other characters (we break this down in each individual section and also discuss the ElseworldsSoWhite hashtag). Don’t worry, we also discuss all the things we liked about the episodes, too. Over on Side B, we talk about Legend of Tomorrow’s midseason finale, question Black Lightning’s direction, and criticize Titans for sidelining Kory.
