Sandra, founder of The Nappy Collective is a Lady Change Maker.

Sandra founded The Nappy Collective to start collecting leftover, unused disposable nappies and give them to families in crisis.

Today, 6-years after launch, they have collected and redistributed over 3-million nappies to families in crisis.

I caught up with Sandra to find out about The Nappy Collective, how she started, the launch of their year round collective and their dire need for volunteers.

Laura was living in “snottsville’ with 3-children when she started her online business, founded after she had a problem and resolved it!

Here’s some of what I asked her:

- You got your first online sale on day 1! How did you get this first sale?

- Many people want to start a business but feel they can’t because the don’t have the knowledge, how did you learn as you went? Google?

Laura, a Mum of 3 did the juggle for a long time “Because I was teaching and spending time on the business I was missing sports days at school and not being able to be there for this event and that event. That was 2 very hard years. So after working with my business coach I retired from teaching and I started working on the business full time. The numbers in the business changed immediately because I was investing the time.”
