Its apparently side character week! The 50s were filled with a blatant disregard for women as human beings...I meant in comic books but ya know in real life too. Here is some classic examples of women being tossed to the side.

We cover more years then usual as we wrap up the Golden Age of Comics, the end of the 40s wasn't a huge time for superpowered women but don't fret there is another surge to get into soon. 

Lois was created to be a damsel in distress for Superman and for too many years she has been kept in that box, today we discuss her as herself as well as her as Superwoman and all the other Superwomen that came after her. 

Today we are diving into the women of 1941, a few side characters that definitely didn't stand the test of time set the tone for all forgotten heroes after them. But before we get to talk about one of the biggest female heroes of all time we must talk about the women that surround her.
