Lady Mprez presents a short story about her past experiences being labeled "fat" and coming to the realization that the word "fat" in American terminology was a bad thing. She brings up the cultural difference of what the word "fat" meant to her growing up in a Caribbean household verses growing up in an American culture. She talks about feeling ashamed of being fat because of the American association with the term, but never felt ashamed of being fat while she was in the Caribbean. She describes the American culture as discriminative and having unrealistic Eurocentric standards of beauty. Lady Mprez ends this story with some positive uplifting words and body positivity.

Lady Mprez gives a little insight about how she grew up in #Florida coming from a multicultural #Caribbean family. She relates the way she grew up to the lack of understanding #language and #culture in today's American society. She highlights points of things that may be offensive in the US, but isn't in other countries.
