Lauren Jackson continues our series Grace & Peace.
We've included some discussion questions for you to reflect on as a response to this teaching.
Waiting, enduring delays, disappointments and discouragements without giving up or backing down is the opportunity for our faith to expand to faithfulness. It is impossible to grow in faithfulness if everything is instant and every prayer answered immediately.
Your waiting is not wasted…. Let faith become faithfulness.
Take some time to reflect on these questions, inviting God into the conversation as you are open and honest with Him.
What have you been waiting for this year, in the last 2 years?
What feels wasted? (Pray into this by simply telling God about it and asking for Him to reveal Himself to you and show you where He is with you and working)
What has left you wondering, where God, what God and why God? (Be really honest with God in conversation.)

What has left you worrying?
(1 Peter 5:7 calls you to give ALL your worries and cares to God, for He cares about you. What would your day look like if you gave up worrying and fully believed God cares about you? Ponder this, and begin to think how you could enter this new year making the choice to WORSHIP when the world is screaming at you to worry. It could be helpful to note a few tools that help you enter into worship as (eg. getting outdoors, getting music on, practicing gratitude, talking to God throughout your day...) but what also could be helpful is to make a note of the things that don't help, ask God to help bring them to your mind, the things that trigger worry or that you can worship instead of God, talk to God about them.
