We will begin a new sermon series called The Image of the Invisible God. This series will focus on stories from the life of Jesus which reveal the character of God. Pastor Jonker will preach the first sermon in the series and his text will be John 2:13-22.

We will welcome Rev. John Steigenga. He will preach on Hebrews 11:1-16 and his sermon is titled “Living by Faith.”

It's is the fourth and final Sunday of advent. We will focus on a fourth woman in the genealogy of Jesus who is actually the fifth woman mentioned. Because we heard a sermon about David and Bathsheba 2 months ago, Reverend Manion will preach on Mary, the mother of Jesus. We will also finish the service by singing the Hallelujah Chorus together.

We will reflect on the third woman in Matthew's genealogy, which means we will be studying the life of Ruth. Reverend Jonker will preach. If you want to prepare for that service, we suggest that you read the whole book. It's only 4 chapters long and it is a wonderful story.
