The church in Forest Lake has very effective small groups and reflect Jesus' love in the way that they care for each other. However, the next season for this church is Spring, a season of growth. This church is being called to look outside themselves to share Jesus with their community.

There's nothing worse than a drink that's meant to be hot and it comes out luke warm. This is the same for us. Christ's letter to Laodicea and by implication to us today challenges us to be passionate in our faith, not relying on our possessions or reputations, but our relationship with Him.

Revelation 2: 12-17 - Pergamum was known as the religious center of Asia Minor. The Christian church could not be eradicated so Satan worked to infiltrate the church with moral corruption. The challenge for the church in Pergamum is alive for the church today as we daily give ourselves in Worship to declare that Jesus is Lord - instead of all!
