Without conflict there’s nothing happening in life.  Having conflict is healthy and normal; it’s part of the natural rhythm of being in community and being human.  The issue isn’t conflict, the issue is how we handle it.  How do we approach conflict with wisdom?

Teachability is not just being able to hear something, it is the willingness to take it to heart and act on it.  What matters most is not what we know but what we act on.  Teachability is not, “I’m only going to listen to people who care about me.”  Rather the posture is, “I’m open to learning from anyone.”

We were not created to live in isolation.  At creation, God said “it is not good for the man to be alone.  Deep, solid, loyal, trustworthy, transparent friendships are critical to living a full life, and it takes wisdom to know how to create/foster those friendships.
