We realize pretty soon that although we have chosen to follow Christ, we are at war. The sinful nature is now at war with the Spirit of God that has come to take up His residence within us.

In 1987, Actionnel Fleurisma met his soon to be wife, Yolande, visited the United States for the first time, and received a calling that God would use to set the isolated mountain region of Haiti he grew up in on an amazing course.

After completing his course work at Central Piedmont Community College, Actionnel returned to Cathor Bayonnais Haiti, a mountain farming region about 90 miles north of Port au Prince. In a region with no roads, electricity, clean water, or modern services of any kind, he started OFCB Ministries and founded a Church. In 1992, beneath the mango trees outside the church, they began an elementary school with about 100 students sitting on banana leaf mats.

Over 25 years later, almost 2,200 students are being educated each year in grades K-13 at two separate campuses in the region, and they all receive a meal each day. For most, it’s the only meal they have. God is using the nutrition and education to His glory in ways few could have imagined. The vision God gave Actionnel has grown into the shared vision of an educated and empowered generation with a vibrant and flourishing local Church behind them.

Actionnel is the Senior Pastor of the Christian Church of Bayonnais and very active in regional ecumenical organizations that are equipping church leader to grow their churches and spread the Gospel.

Redemption. The bible is a story of redemption for all of us. We all struggle with sin and our need for redemption, but the struggles of an addict can be very hard to overcome without God. Pastor Bobby's message today focuses on the "steps of addiction" and the "steps of a recovering addict."
