Love, the actual word, shows up for the first time in Genesis 22:2.  The Law of First Mention sets the contextual foundation for it's use in the rest of the Bible's narrative.  Love's context here is the love of a Father for a one and only Son of Promise.  Sound familiar?

Revelation 21:4 is a most precious promise.  An understanding of the timeline context is vital to appreciating the change that will have taken place in our beings.  We will have an eternal and holy perspective on sin & rebellion.  Hell's sorrows will never touch the shores of the New Earth - our eternal home.  This answers the hardest questions about eternity & loved ones.

A fresh look at the Mission that our King calls us to JOIN Him in.  If you're not fishing...then you're not following.  Our King is still Emmanuel - God with us!

Will we spend eternity in heaven?  That depends on your definition of 'Heaven' is.  There is the Intermediate Heaven & the Eternal Heaven and these two aren't exactly the same.  Listen as Pastor Paul explains what heaven is NOW and what it will be THEN.

Will I be married in Heaven?  Will my pet be there? Will my miscarried baby be there?  These are all important questions that have answers from scripture - some very specifically and others implied.  Some cause us to have to lean on the goodness of God and those may be the best answers of all.

One of the highest hurdles to understanding Heaven is that we don't envision the idea of a "Kingdom".  If we embraced the biblical description of the Kingdom of Heaven then the crazy ideas of people becoming angels, eternal harp playing, floating on clouds, etc would evaporate instantly.
