Grief is the application. Death is the subject. Our culture doesn’t believe in death. But Christianity does - and it has an answer: resurrection. How dead was Jesus? All dead, not just mostly dead. What can be gain from embracing death? Life.

These were the three admonitions Arsenius told the Cenobium as the call to contemplative prayer. This call is so very needy today.

"Christians are arrogant" This is among the top reasons why people avoid church. Is this true? Does following Jesus make Christians better than other people? What did Jesus himself say about this?

It is hard to continue praying when the world around us is falling apart and we can't see God.  In this message Jesus encourages us to persevere in prayer using a story that is so surprising we forget it is supposed to be funny.

There is no more crazy heresy than all the "1,000 year" end-time cults and sects that pop up all over the place. Throughout the centuries many Christians and non-Christians have believed something huge was going to happen NOW - now that 1,000 years has passed. (It is funny that the 'end of the world' is never far away - the end is NEAR!). How should orthodox Christianity view the 1,000 year doctrines of the Church? Not only this topic but others are touched upon.

The Most Famous Heresy of All: Arianism is the original controversy of the church dating back to the 2nd Century AD. The heresy debates the human and divine nature of Jesus and it debates if Jesus is before/beyond creation or within creation.
