In this passage, Peter addressed the relationship Christians are to have with their masters (i.e. bosses, teachers, coaches). More specifically, he exhorted us to respond in a Christlike way when our masters mistreat us. He spelled out how and why we are to humbly, patiently, and quietly endure unfair, unreasonable, undeserved suffering. These verses break up nicely into THREE SECTIONS.
