Understanding and practicing biblical hospitality has the potential to radically transform our church and our community.

Hospitality is an essential Christian virtue that is both commanded and commended throughout Scripture. Sadly, however, many Christians fail to practice hospitality. Hospitality is one of the most practical ways to build closer relationships with people in our church and one of the most effective tools to build bridges to people in our community for the sake of the gospel.

Jesus was the first to command His followers to love one another like He had loved them. The Apostles picked up on and promoted this distinguishing mark of those who claim to know Christ.

The 23rd Psalm is the most well-known, most beloved, most memorized, and most quoted passage in the entire Bible.

All of us are constantly planning where we are going, who we are going to see, and what we are going to do (i.e. after church, tomorrow, this week, next month, a year from now). This can easily result in us having an illusion of control over our lives and being presumptuous about the future. That’s exactly what had happened to the Christians James was writing to in this letter.

Based on what the Bible says, God is the ultimate cause of everything that happens in this world and in our lives, so, it is important for us to consider what God is doing thru this infectious disease that continues to spread around the globe.

Based on Jesus’ words in the scripture, COVID-19 is a merciful warning to all mankind and a world-wide call to repentance.
