In order to be “walk across the room” people we have to learn to live a 3 D life. Develop friendships – Discover stories – Discern next steps.

The single greatest gift that any Christ follower can give to people in their world in an introduction to the God who created them – loved them who has a purpose for their life. In order to give the greatest gift – we have to 1)Be willing to enter into the zone of the unknown – 2) listen to the Spirit’s promptings – 3) have the courage to just walk across the room.

A look at Mary, Mother of Jesus. Her life parenting the "Perfect Child" and living the life of "The Lords Servent".

This message will focus on the whole issue of finding our identity in Christ and not in the voices of people from our past. this message will be all about - we matter to God. We need to in practical ways, remind ourselves of who we are in Christ - we need to find those places where we are reminded and where we are reinforced who we are in Christ - we need to be constantly grateful to God who we are in Christ - we need to be constantly grateful to God that we are who we are in Christ.

This message will focus on the whole issue of personal insecurity – something that every person struggles with - but some people more than others. We will discover what insecurity looks like – how it plays out in our relational world – how it can negatively impact our lives. We will discover that we all have voices from our past – who have played a big part in making us feel so insecure – so unworthy.

This message will be seminar in style – giving a brief overview about how we can study our Bible – understanding what we are reading – getting a sense of the meaning – choosing to apply it to our lives.

The Bible is often seen as outdated information and advice and guidance and counsel and more and more people are turning elsewhere for dealing with the daily practical challenges of life. This message will show how the Bible – even though it was written centuries ago – may still offer the best guidance and instruction for many of the concerns and challenges and responsibilities that people face today. It is my hope that this message will help wet appetites and convince some to turn to the Bible to help them sort of the things they face on a regular basis.

Too often the Bible is seen as nothing more than a collection of writings and books that at times have little to do with one another. Fewer and fewer people understand the grand narrative of the Bible – it is one story that starts in Genesis and concludes in Revelation. This message will focus on telling the grand story so that the listeners can get a sense of how all of the books fit into the story. The framework for this message will be two trees – two groups – one cross.

The Bible is constantly under scrutiny and criticism as to whether it is truly the words of God. This has happened for centuries. This message will focus on addressing the concerns of the critics by presenting credible evidence supporting the reliability of the Bible as the word of God.
