To grow in the knowledge of the Lord is to grow in our relationship as it pertains to our faith in Him, His mercy, His love, His grace, and our blessed hope. Let us draw near to God! The call for us to seek the face of God involves seeking His countenance, seeking His counsel, and seeking His fellowship. God is NEVER struggling with how to speak to you. On the other hand, many struggles to hear or discern the voice of God when He speaks. If you need God to speak to you, He will. When you ask Him for guidance and direction, He will speak it into you. Waiting patiently is not a strong suit in American society. We are not a patient people. We tend to be in a horn-honking, microwaving, Amazon-priming, fast-food eating, express-lane shopping hurry. Waiting may be the hardest single thing we do are called to do. So it is frustrating when we turn to the Bible and find that God Himself, who is all-powerful and all-wise, keeps saying to His people, Wait. Waiting is the place (season) of becoming what God wants us to be so we can receive what He has in store. Join us as Pastor Chris begins our new series, " Prayers of Awakening", sharing about what it is to wait on the Lord.
