Today we talk about the idolatry within the household of Jacob/Israel and what he does to rid the house of those things before going to Bethel (the house of the Lord).

We also see the response of Jacob/Israel to Rueben sleeping with one of his fathers wives and how it contrasts with the response of last weeks episode with Dinah and the city that the brothers slew.

Then of course we use Matthew 7:1-5 to talk about how our sins look so much bigger on other people and how we judge them more harshly or condemn them more than we would ask for.
