The root of bitterness seeps poison into our souls. We need the power of Christ to get rid of all bitterness that would take us hostage and destroy us and those around us.

The only true REST comes from know Christ.

According to a University of Michigan study, people care 40% less about people than they did in the 1980's. Some believe that Social Media plays a role in that. As followers of Christ we are called to live above that! This week we will hear how to be compassionate in a world full of people who could care less.

Social Media allows us to live behind a veil and only reveal to others "the Me I want them to See". God has something better in mind for us. Real Authentic relationships, first with Him, and then with others. It's time to let Jesus remove the veil!

In a society full of social media, it is easy to trade online relationships for real face to face relationships. Jesus calls us to love one another in action and not just in word. In order to do that, we need to learn to love real people face to face not just thumb to thumb.

We live in a society that is immersed in Social Media. We have everything from Facebook to Twitter. We get to see everyone's best on social media and we know our worst. We can have a tendency to compare ourselves to others. There is no winners when we do that! Christ has something better in mind: CONTENTMENT. Join us this week as we talk about how to be content by following Jesus in a selfie centered world.

Today's message talks about forgiving even when you have been wronged terribly. God was wronged by Israel when they committed spiritual adultery with other gods, yet God's grace still reached out to His people. Do you know that Grace?

Fear is the opposite of Faith and it can keep us from God's best for our lives. Fear in marriage can keep couples from having the marriage that God wants them to have. This week we look at Abraham and Sarah and see how they moved from Fear to Faith.
