If you as a child of God trust and believe in Jesus Christ, and all the miracles God has done for His people, then you too can serve and stand strong for God will strengthen you, and protect you.

Jesus spoke outwardly to many, and on those occasions it was often to the legalists examples of that time, the Pharisees, and the Sadducees. But, it applies to us just as much these days if not more so.

In our study of how can we be spiritually strong our text has given us much by rooting and grounding us in the love of Christ. Without this rooting and grounding we do not stay strong for the long haul.

Every where Jesus went the sick either followed him, or were there before he arrived. Jesus was there to prove His sovereignty, and to heal those the Father wanted healed. Same goes for salvation.

One way to be spiritually strong is to be deeply rooted. So how can we do this-

Right after the miracle of Jesus feeding the 5000, comes another miracle that night, that everyone knows, but few know all the wonderful parts, other than the miracle itself. People know about Jesus walking on water and most of the time nothing more. Sad really.

WE all need to be better stronger Christians, but how can we be stronger- First is to know who that strength comes from, and who sustains us.

The shear power to create from nothing, and the shear amazement of what Jesus did here, and all who saw it happen. Keep in mind too, what these scriptures say- 5000 men, which did not include the women, and the children that were also here- beyond amazing-

You might be physically strong in many things- but are you spiritually strong- I for one know I am not, or at least need help in this area.

A herd of sheep must have a shepherd, or the herd will die. We too, must have a shepherd, or we too will die. Isn't it so wonderful to have a risen savior as our eternal shepherd-
