Jesus is even sovereign over all illness, disease, and maladies humans may have, including sin.

Jesus sees our heart, our minds, and knows our every need, just as Jesus knew this father's need for his daughter to live.

In the season of Jesus birth, and in Matthew 1-21 we find Jesus came to save his people.

Jesus heals a demon possessed man, shows his disciples he even has power over demons, after already showing them he could even control the weather itself. But, we should see that Jesus is sovereign over all things.

The disciples who wondered what manner of man Jesus was- now sees that even the demons know who he is, and what he can do. In fact all see this open display of Jesus' power, and also of His Divine grace with this man who is possessed.

Jesus has done several miracles, and the calming of the storm, caused his disciples to say what manner of man is this that even the wind and water obey him- Yet, Jesus is just beginning with his miracles, and now we see even demons are afraid of him.

Grace is an unmerited gift from God, so what is abounding grace-

This is not about the storms in our lives, but the one who is everything, in all things- Jesus- Jesus not only brings, or allows, storms, but he also brings great calm, and solutions, we just have to believe and have Faith in Him- The last verse says it best- What manner of Man is this who even the wind and waves obey Him-

So many speak of how the Lord calms storms in our lives. But, few mention that this portion of scripture is not about us- but about the one who actually does this work- Jesus Christ- All scripture is about Jesus-

Who is the great physician- Who is in need of healing- Can anyone heal spiritual problems, or death-
