In Week 2 of "In Their Shoes," Pastor Daniel Lumpee teaches a message on the woman who anoints Jesus' head in Matthew 26. We see that Jesus chooses the cross over the crown, acknowledging that this great act of love performed by the woman is to prepare Him for burial.

In Week 1 of our Lenten message series called "In Their Shoes," Pastor Daniel Lumpee teaches us three lessons we can learn from the donkey and the colt in Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem. The humility expressed by the donkey in Matthew 21 is a model for us all.

In our final week of our "The Gospel According To..." series, Pastor Daniel Lumpee interviews pediatrician Dr. Dan Ransom of Baylor Scott & White College Station. Part of Dr. Ransom's story is that great tragedy helped him to find his calling. The same can be true for you; what breaks your heart? What is it that you see in the world and think, "It shouldn't be like that"?

Maybe God is calling you to make a difference in your career. Maybe God is calling you to make your occupation into a vocation, so that every day of your vocation feels like a vacation.

In the third installment of our "The Gospel According To..." message series, Pastor Daniel Lumpee interviews Century 21 Beal Agent Farrah Spears. In this conversation, you'll see that people matter more than the product. God has called us to love whoever He has put in our place, and part of the way we can shift the atmosphere in our career is to approach each day with a servant mindset.

As a part of our "The Gospel According To..." message series, Pastor Daniel Lumpee is joined by Jerald and Hayley Huggins, owners and operators of three Chick-fil-A restaurants in College Station. They talk about clarifying calling, dealing with difficulties, and how to focus on passion, rather than product.

As followers of Christ, we know that we are called to live out our faith. Deep down, we know that there is no secular/sacred divide. At all times, in all places, in all circumstances, we are marked by Jesus.

But how can we be faithful in the workplace, especially if our work setting is "secular"?

In this series, Pastor Daniel Lumpee will interview various members of our church family who are living out their faith in their career. This week, we are joined by Max Crawford, a Meteorologist with the KBTX PinPoint Weather Team.
