"Lamb" are an electronic music duo comprised of singer/songwriter Lou Rhodes and multi-instrumentalist producer, Andy Barlow.

Back in 1994 Lou Rhodes was writing her own original songs but wanted to produce a sound that fused her folk songwriting sensibilities with a more breakbeat/trip-hop approach, a sound she was discovering through listening to various pirate radio stations. After struggling to find the right creative partner, a mutual friend put her in touch with producer Andy Barlow, who at the time was ending a stint as an engineer in a Manchester based studio. After an initial meeting, the pair decided to book some studio time to see what they could come up with. The result was a unique sonic blend of Lou's melodic vocals over Andy's drum & bass inspired beats. With only a few songs in hand they were soon signed to a 6 album deal.
