Orchid represents a certain type of spirit in Chinese culture, which shows a lot of grittiness. In Western culture, it means something else, sexy, mysterious, voluptuous, and etc. In this piece, I  combined those characteristics and has given this flower a mixture of the different sights. 

兰花在中国文化中象征君子，在西方文化中象征着性感、神秘、妖娆等等；在这首作品中，我把两者结合起来，表达花的不同面向。
